Problem Statement:

People in northern Uganda have gone through a difficult situation in conflict war for more than two decade. Many people have lost their lives, traumatised, education, health facilities, economy, roads are completely down.

After along sty in the IDP, immediately some have started going back and planting some crops. The rain which have started in March and increased heavily in July has resulted into floods and it has increased to the extent that it lost lives, homes, crops and breakage of some bridges cutting off communication to some areas, difficulties in transport. This has made commodity prices such as salt, soap to almost double the previous cost. The increase of malaria cases due to too many mosquitoes and some of water born diseases. In every home at least one or two people have malaria and mainly the pregnant women, old age people, children of ages 0-8. In many parishes, death cases reported in every month is from 5-8 people and mainly the children. The worst affected population are people living near river and wet land areas.
