World In Need International is a non-profit, humanitarian relief and development agency devoted to changing attitudes in many countries of the world through aid and education.

We are a global network of national initiatives by groups of people working to relieve suffering, poverty and oppression.

World In Need was started in response to the plight of the Kurds in 1991 when they were gassed and killed in the mountains of Iraq. Aid is still going to these people but the work has expanded into over 22 countries, providing not only aid but also opportunities for education and trade.

In each country the World In Need operation has a board and an auditor and, wherever possible, is registered with its own government as an NGO.
